Shawn Jackson is a newcomer to hip-hop hailing from LA. His debut album, "First Of All" was released last year and It's top 10 of '08 imo. He then had a collab album with the producer Newman of Giant Panda which was solid for the most part.
For his debut he got alot of funk/soul sounding production, is an above average lyricist and has great flow & delivery. Basically just makes very enjoyable music, and not too many people have heard of him.
