I think Asher Roth's debut album is going to alot better than people are thinking...
The reviews I've heard on it so far have been good....
I mean if your going for something serious, or street obviously your not going to like it. And I agree(most people think this) he does suck at freestyling, but I think he makes some fun songs. The keyword is fun, its not the kind of rap I would listen to everyday, but the kind you pull out for a change from the traditional brand of rap. Its not my style of rap overall, but I can't hate on someone that literally is being themselves.......he just seems the average dude that could have grew up in anyones town or city. Its hard to hate on that....
this song(i love college) is one of my favorites from this year. Is it lyrical? No. But is it enjoyable to listen to? Yeah, I love the beat and the melody of the song....
plus theres some funny lines in it...
