L.A.X wins this, the production was really dope!!!

The tracks ft Common and Nas beat any tracks on Tha Carter III..

And i really liked Carter III too, it was a real good album..

These albums are like the summer blockbusters when it comes to movies...but I tend to prefer the better made lower budget art films that win all the awards.

Carter III was a mess for the most part... and I didn't care for the production on most of the album - I didn't feel like it suited Wayne's style and voice... I guess I choose LAX there, but neither album is getting re-played by me...

I agree that the carter 3 was a big disappointment, nowhere near the carter 2 but i still think wayne showed more versatility on that then game did on LAX. I also gotta say that the name dropping....although i respect it as a style and recognize the creativity behind it....holds game back, because when its on just about every song it gives the cd more of a mixtape feel in my opinion.

I do think this is a very good thread and i respect all opinions on this subject. If someone was to say either cd was better then untitled, i couldnt respect that.

I got one more thing to say...i havent listened to that new TI cd alot yet but from what I've heard it sounds better then both C3 and LAX

Oh there's a thread for this. I'll go with LAX. Songs with some actual substance to them. This is Game's most diverse album. C3 is a commercial success but it's hit or miss. And mostly miss for me.

Game opened up a lot more on this album. Tracks like My Life, Letter to the King, LAX Files, Angel, Never Can Say Goodbye, Game's Pain. Those songs show growth. I thought Wayne was better lyrically up until Carter 2. But after hearing Carter 3 I say Game has the edge.

I'll go with LAX I still listen to it. C3 has been on ice for a while.
