He doesn't suck to me. I listen to the Carter II and a few of his mixtapes on a weekly basis, but you saying hip hop would be dead without him proves two things. 1, You're missing out on A LOT of good music and 2, YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.

I said hip hop would not be dead if he were absent. Meaning if he were gone the genre would still be alive and well.

I could see how it would mix you up. After I posted it, it seemed kind of funny.

NO your not getting what im saying, GOOD music now a days GET NO RADIO PLAY ok?? all that is on the radio is t pain and lil wayne , soulja boy and people like them.. so what im saying is soulja boy and all them ARE HIP HOP now in 2008 if you like it or not.. The good music being made does not get played!! that why they say hip hop is dead!! becuase you dont hear it anymore!! lil wayne IS HIP HOP (if you like it or not) cant argue and without him all that would be on the radio is bow wow and soulja boy, t pain!! hip hop is already dead without wayne it would be...... wow who knows..

I give him a 2 plus 1 point for every 5 years of my complete bias that rap has been dead. Overall he gets a 4, which is extremely generous for the work he has done.

So you are saying hip hop is dead because it doesn't get radio play?? Who gives a **** what the general public think?? Hip hop is far from dead, I couldn't give a **** if it's never played on the radio again and Wayne never makes another record, Hip hop is alive and well and always will be. There's alot of good hip hop being made, you just got to know where to look.

For example.... If Dre drops Detox this year, and the album is absolutely amazing, but it doesn't get played on the radio, does that make hip hop dead? If I like an emcee but he NEVER gets played on the radio does that mean it's not hip hop?

Or from 1991 to 1996. Nas, Biggie and Jay weren't on the radio that much really, and Wu Tang were hardly ever heard on the radio, would you say hip hop was dead back then?

Now we have the internet and new, talented artists are coming through all the time, as well as being able to listen to our old, favourtie artists whenever we want, hip hop will never be dead.
