Lil Wayne Appreciation Thread

I made this thread for everyone to post their favorite lil wayne songs. I used to always say "**** weezy" and "**** commercial rap" but lil wayne had such a strong buzz going...a little over a year ago i finally checked his music out. I thought some of his **** was wack and i still do but hes also made alotta great music and i cant do nothing but give him the props he deserves. Hes very versatile...he makes music for everyone. Heres a couple of my favorite songs by him

Your first instict was correct - Li'l Wayne is wack as ****. Just the latest in the long standing rule of thumb that any rapper named Lil or Young/Yung is usually basura ("garbage" to my gringo speakin' peops).

Props to him for strong record sales, but mainstream success doesn't always equal quality. Any boxing fan will tell you as much the moment Floyd-Oscar and 2.4 million buys is brought into discussion

One of my favorite Wayne joints is Money on My Mind. Just an ill song all around. Carter 2 is one of my favorite albums to ride to in the whip.

I agree 100% but im not talkin about songs like "lollipop" and "fireman". Im not sure how much of his material your familiar with but im not about to catch feelings over you calling wayne wack as ****. If you were on a site with weezy stans they'd be crying right now...i see it all the time on other sites.


lefthook2dabody...carter 2 is also one of my favorite cd's to drive around bumpin. Those fly in and fly out songs are real nice too...

I bump Lolipop and Fireman. Those are good songs. The 808's on Lolipop are rediculous.

I bump Lolipop and Fireman. Those are good songs. The 808's on Lolipop are rediculous.
