He'll still be in the game. But every mainstream rapper has their run. And then it moves on to the next artist. That's just how it is. DMX had his run, then Ja, then 50, then TI, now it's Wayne. I think he'll continue to be a big artist.

I'm not sure he'll be a legend he still has a lot of work cut out for himself. He hasn't really made any influential impact, all he's done so far is sell records.

Heres my opinion of Lil Wayne...sometimes he impresses me and other times its like WTF is he talking about? lol. I think if his music continues to grow he might be something special. I see talent, but he has to continue to get better.(Just my opinion)

As for the answer to this question. In 5 years he'll still be a major factor in the game.

He'll still be THE GAME but he'll have major competition. Artist will start to examine his and T-Pain's feature strategy and use it to their advantage....Check Rick Ross..He's feature on a bunch of records so far this year..Heck i think more than Wayne..Now his name is buzzing...

Not so sure. Lupe is on par with nas lyrically probably better in terms of complexity. But Wayne is not in Jay's league lyrically. Swagger yes, everything else no.

i don't mean they are necessarily as good as them, i just mean they fill the roles they have/had at the top of hip-hop with their contrasting styles

there's always been two main artists at the top of hip-hop with contrasting styles, substance vs. style

before Nas and Jay it was Biggie and Pac, Rakim and Big Daddy Kane, Public Enemy and N.W.A. ... now it's Lupe and Weezy

IMO Lil Wayne in 5 years will be Dead off the Lean or will have found some sort of
                spirituality....

Lupe won't be around in 5 years his last album will be Lup-end

The Rappers like the cool kids and Kid sister will be popular...

Kanye and Jeezy will still be up there though...
