Joe Budden may be able to rap, and being from Jersey myself I hoped he would blow up like a Red or Meth .. but the dude can not put together a record, he isnt hot right now ... he has not gained any attention since that piece of trash "Pump It Up" record. I agree he can rhyme, but come on.. The Growth has been due out for years now, and with his cut from Def Jam.. is Koch calling for this flop?

He's releasing a new independent album called Padded Room, and I'm sure he'll make more ACTUAL money off of that then he would have with a real BIG TIME label. He has a substatial online and underground following. Plus he's making the music he WANTS to make. I DO think that the labels have wated his talent though, I don't think this one is his fault.

He never consistantly brought out hot **** even though he could have done.

Controversial but I respect your opinion.

I can't see what more he could have done. I'll admit he's fallen off since Doc's Da Name (is that the correct title) but before that he release Whut Thee Album? Dare Iz A Darkside and Muddy Waters which I consider hip hop classics.

I'd say Method Man is a bigger waste, did fack all after releasing his debut album Tical.

yeah I agree about Meth. i wouldn't call them complete wastes of talent. I just think they're both so good I think they could of done more. Especially Meth.

I've also heard Rick Ross rap A LOT better than he does. He may seem like a weird choice, but he could make better music than he does.

'Criminal Minded' is a good track to get what I mean.

What about Cassidy, my knowledge on him is limited. But he was known as being a battle rapper and he comes out with Hotel! Surely he could do a lot better than that.

If you haven't heard him battle then check out the demolition of Freeway.

His second and third albums are better than his first. But, he does have some decent songs and some...... less than decent songs.

Leanin' On The Lords Side, Drink And My Two Step, C-Bonics are better songs than most.

What about Fabolous. I always liked his punch lines and thought he would be bigger than he was. I liked quite a few of his songs but his albums were never really that good.
