You can say that about most rappers. If you come to listen to him with you not liking him on your mind right off the bat. Most likely you wont like him later on.Even if there style and subject's has changed.

        I disagree.
        Tha Carter 1 impressed me.
He came a long way from 500 degreez to Tha Carter 1.
After that, you got some Mixtapes he did and then the Carter 2, which didn't impress me at all.

I will be fair and wait until the Carter 3 before I say anything else though.

You are so right about the coming along way part Jack...But I have to disagree with you saying his skills are limited..This dude wrecks everybodys tracks, not just his own..

The Carter one was crazy because he was on that whole "I dont write" tip..Now its all blow and go..maybe I'll right & maybe I'll freestyle..Either way he is a beast and every artist in the industry is wanting him on their ****..

I also think the Carter 3 is going to be it...I can see new heights with this album...If not then I will be very surprised..

i couldnt stand wayne before carter 1, but that turned me into a fan. Carter 2 was his best work to date IMO and I have low expects for 3 just because I see it laced with Storch, Timbo, high profile nonsense. What made Carter 2 was a consistant sound.
