Life After Death: The Movie is a film due out in July (on DVD) documenting the aftermath of the death of the Notorious B.I.G.
Rather than focus on Biggie himself, the documentary focuses on close friend D-Roc, Lil' Kim and Junior M.A.F.I.A., and how everything for them changed when Christopher Wallace was shot to death in 1997.
The movie is narrated by Jamie Hector of The Wire and directed by April Maiya. The movie details the lives of how Biggie's friends eventually went from the top of the food chain in the hip hop game all the way to breaking up after the Hot 97 shootout, which landed Kim and D-Roc in prison.
The movie includes footage of the shootout, an interview with D-Roc (the first one he's done), as well as footage of Biggie, Lil Cease, Diddy, Mase, Jay-Z, The Lox, Snoop Dogg, Redman, Mario Winans, Big Pun, Sisqo, Missy Elliott, Mary J. Blige, Charli Baltimore, and more.
The movie hits stores July 3rd.
