Let me tell you about my one bedroom apartment

    I hate it.

The light in the hallway is on a sensor which is malfunctioning and turns itself off and on randomly with a loud click.

The guy in the room opposite me is a late night security guard who often pops back to his room late at night to get stuff and SLAMS his door and the hallway door every time.

The guy upstairs is some fat ass who seems to be doing wii fit constantly so you can hear his thunderous footsteps at all hours of the night.

I don't rate it at all.

I feel your annoyance strongly. The world is full of inconsiderate cnts. I recently-ish moved (+ partner and child) from a crappy town called Farnborough just outside London because of exactly all that nonsense - door slammers, unstable obese women, effeminate btchy men - never experienced so many freaks in all my life. Came back up to Edinburgh in Scotland and it's like fkn heaven compared to all that crap down there.
You gotta do something when your quality of life is really being affected. Decent, respectful and peaceful people shouldn't have to live among the "I don't care about you" underclass.

Time to buy a home, some advice.

Don't buy around rentals, make damn sure you buy where you are surrounded by home owners.

Don't buy with an alley in the back, buy with either a home behind you or in the country, now ya need dogs.

How can anyone live in an apartment for very long?

We guessed if we sold right nowwe'd turn a 60, 000 profit. Take that 60, 000 make a huge down payment on another home and make small payments. You need a plan.

It's quite expensive in and around the centre but there is still good value to be had in the less posh areas because they're absolutely fine to live in nowadays - hardly any shtitty areas now. Overall, it's a fkn great place to live: good people, low crime except bicycle thefts are still a scourge, endless architecture/history, plenty to see and do for adults and sprogs, even got two beaches, several dead volcanoes, and a healthy mix of all nationalities that seem to get on well.. and no ethnic factions at all.
Definitely recommend it. Quality of life is very good - or was before the old Rona. And it's only a matter of time before Josh fights at the castle.
You definitely wouldn't regret it. And anything else I've not mentioned, please ask away.
