Six people - including five young children - have been killed in a shooting at an Oklahoma home

Police responded to a call that "multiple people" had been shot at the house in Muskogee, a town southeast of Tulsa.

Officers found one man and four children dead at the scene, and a fifth child died at a Tulsa hospital.

A woman was also taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A statement from the City of Muskogee police said a man was shot at, while running from the scene. He escaped injury but was arrested and taken into custody.

Authorities have not released his name or any details about the people who died.

honestly you wish the cops had just hit him at the scene when he was running. back of the head. justice for everyone and right on the spot. then we move forward and try and make it more difficult for something like this to happen. background checks and waiting periods on all gun sales. elimination of private gun sales. serious penalties for bringing guns across state lines. mag size. assault rifle bans. it's what the rest of the civilized world, where this is much, much more rare than, does. and it works.
