The ending was good

It aged well imo

The show was seen thru Tonys eyes

When the guy in the "members only" jacket smoked him, his life and the show went to black

We kinda know what happened but at the same time made ppl talk about it and wonder still

Best show of all times. I might watch it for the 4th time soon.

I'll probably start rewatching it, i was a kid when I started to watch the sopranos, I probably only remember the last 3 seasons

I didnt mind the ending, but yea no closure kind of leaves us incomplete

Gomorrah is on HBO if your looking for a good crime series, Gomorrah is more of a brutal series unlike sopranos was a bit more TV friendly drama of an american capo life

I've only watched the gomorrah series in Italian lol, i don't know Italian at all but it has a little spanish to it i think, highly recommend it

Plus I still think Chase kept putting "never hear it coming" repeatedly



Remember the shoot out with Sil in the casino? The guy who got killed in front of him (can't recall who) they never heard it coming.

Well, it was left as it was by design, there is no right answer, so you can interpret it how you the viewer sees fit. Maybe it went dark because all the lights went off and everyone jumped out and yelled surprise because it was his birthday or something. Maybe.

There's quite a lot of references that would hint at he got whacked, stuff Bobby said about when it happens you just fade to black, it seemed a very public place, the scene keeps showing all the background characters coming in, then one going to the bathroom.

The reason for him being killed to me seems obvious. The New York families are throughout the series portrayed as bigger and more important than Tony's Jersey family. It's well known to kill a New York boss is a big deal and you need the okay from all the other bosses to do it. Tony arranges with Phil Leotardos underlings, who had lost faith in him, to take him out, they give him his location, say they can't get involved but he should do what he has to do, and he has his men kill Leotardo. Afterwards when the **** hits the fan in New York Leotardos underlings have clean hands and can blame the little New Jersey crew, take Tony out with approval, take over their New York family, and it's all above board for them. Only them, Tony and I think Silvio knew about the deal.

I personally would have preferred Tony winning that war and then just a last scene with him and his family where he knows he's in deep **** because most of his crew is dead and a key guy just turned to the FBI but him and his family are enjoying a dinner together and that's how it ends with it just going to credits as they eat, but the immediate end and black screen and silence to me make it pretty clear he got killed.

I think so. Would it be New York who whacked him then? He basically had no frends left in NY.

They made sure they showed that guy in the members only jacket a few times.

Also when Tony walks into that restaurant, he stares at the wall a few times, at those 3 pictures . I don't know their significance.

Yeh bobby was telling him that on the boat, you don't hear it coming.

Just saw the last scene again.

Meadow can't park the car, she seems frantic.

All three are eating the onion rings in one open mouth bite, like wafer in mass.

Meadow is running towards the entrance but we never see her come in. It switches to Tony who looks up, assuming meadow came in.

The screen goes black.

Also, when Chris got shot and was in a coma, he wanted to see Tony and Paulie as he had a message from the other side, I think from Mikey and other guys they whacked.

He said " 3 o clock "

The guy in the members only jacket was at 3 o clock to Tony when he went into the bathroom and out

When Chris got made, he saw that crow outside of the window when all the made guys were in the room, and Chris got Whacked.

When Tony was in his room and all the crew came to see him after the accident with him and Chris, in the scene u can hear a crow crowing.

Like a sign of death laying its mark like it did for Chris

It means that Paulie ends up being the new boss, if Sil doesnt make it back

Which also means Paulie gets whacked sooner or later since his last talk with Tony he was saying he doesnt wanna be Capo of the crew cos all the capos of that crew got whacked or died
