Forced diversity or manufactured diversity is racist.

The goal should be a meritocracy.

Positions need to be filled by merit. Best person for the job.

Diversity is cool but these weirdos do it to the extreme. Diversity still means white people in the mix too. I am for diversity when its implemented right, it was meant to keep people from underrepresented groups from being discriminated against IF ALL IS THE SAME meaning if they qualify for that job/role/placement aswell they should have a fair shot at that job/role/placement but theirs no way to quantify/prove that someone was given a fair shot over his white counter-part so ENTER DIVERSITY/AFFIRMATIVE ACTION. Now this wouldn't have been needed if white people weren't discriminating against underrepresented groups to begin with but since they are it was a necessary measure.

Diversity is good because regardless of race, gender, ethnicity etc it assures everyone has a equal right to success.

Detractors will say it lowers the bar, it doesn't lower the bar if its implemented right.

Bottom Line: Anyone who can perform the task and has the qualification to perform the task should be considered for the job FAIRLY.

Nitpicking and moving the goal post is just disguised discrimination. Its used to be "they need a college degree" now its "they need a degree from a certain school".
