Coronavirus has driven this man insane. If you rightly point out the lack of severity of this supposed crisis, he acts like the world is ending and you're not noticing. The guy needs to get a grip. I'm sure many of you have told this moron everything. Cited articles, studies and accurate figures but nothing seems to dissuade him from thinking this is a total catastrophe. He gets ridiculously angry about it too, literally wishes death on you if you (again, rightly) disagree with his moronic fearmongering, he needs his head checked.

I don't know that poster but I've been dealing with an employee with "covid anxiety".
We're in the process of letting him go: He's a very unproductive, unhealthy middle-aged man who can't support his family & refuses to work full time. If I were in his shoes I'd be either be frantically scrambling to salvage my life or suicidally depressed.
He's not worried about any of that in the slightest. That's just "the system holding him down" and there's nothing he can do about it, so why stress bro?
But if COVID-19, North Korea or school violence are in the news he's literally debilitated. He can't function. All of his thoughts and anxieties are the thoughts and anxieties of "the people" (as portrayed on television). He treats his own life like an old dish rag.
