I’m sore form doing burpees, and giving my wife quality time.
Jhonny is pissed because it’s raining and no other dogs to challenge to a street battle.

I bought a relatively cheap Casio keyboard piano for $180. It has 61 keys and holy sh/t I didn’t think 61 keys to 88 keys would make the piano cost from $100+ to $500+. I have no clue how to play piano but i’m teaching myself using the internet. I had one a very long time ago and learned maybe two piano songs, but I was 12-13
This stems from constantly watching youtube videos of people playing song covers with piano, classic guitars, saxophones and violins. It’s something I enjoy regardless of whether or not i’m stuck home. So I figured I take a step further during this time and bought a piano to play stuff myself.
Ive taken up sobriety. Decided to go sober this entire quarantine. No alcohol.
I’ve got about three weeks completed so far.

Start on the C (the one before the 2 black notes) and leave the next white note and play the E and then leave the next white note out and play the G. So you are playing a 1-3-5 pattern on the white notes. Thats your C major chord.
noe if you keep that same 1-3-5 finger pattern and move it up the keyboard playing only the white notes, that's all the chords of the c major scale.
so with your left hand play any chord with that pattern but base it around the C chord and then with your right hand play any white notes again based around the c note and your playing in C major.
Now if you use the same notes and chords but base it around starting on the A note you are in A minor with gives you a sadder sound.
you can actually start on any note and base it around any chord using that shape and only the white notes and they are the 7 modes of C major.
easy.

Yeah, they are screening us now when we walk in to the building. Aside from that it's business as usual. I work for a wine and spirits company in my state that's state controlled, so we were deemed essential for their own economic reasons.
If you are sick at all they send u home for 1 to 2 weeks. What sucks is that they burn through ur PTO and vacation time first though.

Why waste my time learning to crochet or paint watercolor, life is going to go back to normal once this lockdown lifts so I'm just doing the usual **** I'd be doing if I was off work and at home

I have been working on my car - simple stuff like wiring and wheel refurbs.
Sort of thing I would not pay a mechanic to do, but have not had enough time to do it myself.
Ordered all the extra tools / paints etc from Amazon.
Really pleased with myself - weird sense of achievement.
