Dude, today I hit a point where I'm like "**** this bull****"
New York city is pretty much shut down. The county I live in is the #1 highest in confirmed cases of the virus for the state of NJ.
I'm 10 miles away from NYC. Things are starting to get weird.
OH this virus ruined my St. Patrick's day plans.

Crazy man. Things gotta be weirder out there for you than me. I'm indigenous so there's not a lot to shut down where I'm from.

Nah, I’d say another few weeks. I say take the trillion+ this is going to set us back out of the debt we owe China. Let them pay for it.

It ain't gonna be for 18 months.
I've been out on the road a lot lately. I'm self employed and much of my work requires me to go out. As long as I keep getting more work, I have to do it. Although over the past day or so, I'm really starting to reconsider that mindset. On the one hand I can't submit to my competition. This might even be an opportunity for me to steal some business. The slowdown will be temporary and once it blows over, there will be likely be an avalanche of work for me. On the other, the more I go out, the more I'm exposed. I am avoiding crowds and using hand sanitizer/washing hands when I can, keeping my distance from people. But I'm not sure that's enough. I'd feel a lot safer if I had masks. I'm considering shutting down for the next few weeks. Best case scenario is that the state issues a shelter in place so that nobody can do anything, meaning wouldn't be able to shift work to my competitors.
I was in Manhattan Brooklyn and Queens yesterday. Manhattan was certainly not deserted but it was about half full. Brooklyn had a very creepy vibe. Felt like a zombie apocalypse was brewing.

Really? I haven't been to the city in like a week.
I might be in Brooklyn tomorrow. I'll have to see this.

Honestly. I them to call martial law so the national guard can be activated. I am losing money when they cancel drills.
