Watchmen on HBO

I'm really feeling this show.

It's grim, and serious and intelligent enough to be real, yet has the fantastical, grand, mysterious feel of a great comic book. A lot of great themes in this story like the buried and forgotten crimes of humanity committed by white people on african americans and it even explores reparations.

I just started watching it and I'm on episode 3. Already one of the best comic book shows I've seen right next to titans, maybe better. There's still so much going on and I still don't know where it's going to lead.

I've watched it. Trying to like it.

I tried to get into it but it's too corny and predictable for me.

Weird because they try way too hard to be different.

I try to give it a chance, most 1st seasons arent great for a lot of shows and maybe they'll get it right 2nd season.

Just hard when you compare it to the comics and the movie that was good.

I guess hbo watchmen is okay. Not awful but I guess its trendy for ppl to say it's good.

This show is quality. I'm on episode 5 and there is always a feel of some large grander mystery at work that the show's excellent writing continually teases you with.

Some of my favorite shows are where it feels as though the world they built is larger than you can comprehend, and it feels good to be lost and confused and to create your own interpretations of what's out there.

I feel like there's something immense hiding in the shadows and I can't wait to find out. I'll bump this thread when I finish the season.

I liked it. I'm fine with this being a one season show since I don't think Angela with Dr Manhattan's power would be intriguing to watch.

HBO is always quality writing.
