I understand your point, but let's say they get some white dude to play the main role in a new 'black panther' movie. The black panther isn't real either so any skin colored dude could play the role. Like I said some things should just stay the way they are, we all know superman is just a fictional character but some things shouldn't be changed in my opinion, I would also be against a white guy playing the shaft, it just doesn't fit.

I have come up with a decent back story for a Black Super Hero, without the need to appropriate an acepted white one.

How about an escaped slave who, while running through a cotton field after breaking his chain's gets abducted by aliens taken to a planet named Wakanda and given super athletic powers and the ability to read white peoples minds.

He then returns to the plantation and goes undercover brother to read the minds of the Plantation owners - if they have racist thoughts he destroys them with his social justice lazer beam eyes, if they have 'pure thoughts' they must pay reparations to all the ******. The freed ****** can then build an urban utopia where all thrive and education and welfare programs flourish, creating a model for all other races to follow. This utopia could be named Baltimore or maybe Chicago?

There could also be a sub plot involving a very attractive, nubile teenage daughter of the plantation boss who is unable to find satisfaction from her cuckold boyfriend and cannot deny her lust for our super hero's phallic super weapon...

I think this would make millions at the box office.
