awesome... i love hearing about German's getting got..
most of these jobs, are inside jobs.. at least the successful one's are...

one big problem.. is selling the art.. you gotta know who you are dealing with, and be about your business..

I met a guy, I mentioned this already. He was a Brit commando, who moved into Sumitomo, heavy industries, oil drilling.. he said. he was surprised that so many of his buddies got rich stealing artifacts from the bagdad museum.. he said, many of the buyers, he was told, were rich, power people, who buy these things to show off to other rich guys.. so.. no fear of being discovered..

Somethings cannot be easily sold off.. I know.. I have had options to buy stolen nice things, and had to pass. Obviously, i can not say, my poor relatives had these things in storage or a closet or attic...

i like guys who have military training, and know what they are going for, and get it.. in and out..

was watching dog day afternoon, and was shocked they were so ******.. in and out.. get it done..

re watch dog day afternoon, so many rookie mistakes. ...

sure... all these diamonds are "old cut" (from the 18th and 19th centuries), tbh...

And in this day and age it's a surprise that museums didn't have an insurance

... The German form of "naivety" looks more like "kitsch" than "credulity"...
