Yeah I enjoyed this movie. Great uplifting film by Ron Howard who's a criminally underrated director IMO.

It was ok, worth a watch. But Max Baer was misrepresented a bit. The guys he killed in the ring really haunted him and that wasn’t how they portrayed him. Otherwise not a bad watch.

No argument about Baer being misrepresented as the real bad guy....however...the actor who played Baer must have watched a lot of film on Baer because he definitely boxing in Max's style very accurately.

The "Don't worry I'll comfort your widow" line rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. Max wasn't that dude at all from what I've read.

The title is kinda gay though. I know Cinderella is supposed to mean an underdog who triumphs over hardship, but never liked using some fairy ass term to describe a man.

my ex girls called me under dog, and my hot college girl was a chinese beauty, chinese guys hated me, because I had a good one... but like all good women had, she dumped me for cheating on her regularly..

calling me under dog was not a compliment..



whenever Under Dog tried to save the day and step up and be heroic, he would fvcxxk chit up bad... it was better if he never tried to help.. i think it is called being vainglorious.. or something like that..

he looks like Canelo, back then, and then, he went bald...

i am cabezon, got a big head, and big ears, if I go bald, mang, i am ****ed..

some guys can pull off that bald look, and I am not one of them...
