I think it has been going on a lot longer, because, Teaching Assistants were selling triple neck flasks, with heating mantles, condensers, and pretty much anything a guy would need, like hydriotic acid, or h2so4 18 molar, for reflux reastion, and effedrine, red phosporus, crystal iodine, out of school inventory. They could say the glassware broke, and nobody would question it.
I guess they made off with a lot of money, they were greatful dead heads, and the rumor was, they were making money to go to greatful dead concerts, sell LSD
I am surprised these guys got caught, because they had all the proper equipment, and a hood to suck up and get rid of all the bad smells.
they might have been getting high, on their own supply?
recently, some japanese chemistry students were caught doing the same thing.Last edited by Zaroku; 11-18-2019, 02:05 AM.
