Is Boris Johnson a wannabe *****, like a version of ***** that sucks at

Is Boris Johnson just a guy who wants to imitate ***** but just sucks at it?

This question is directed more at the Brits who know what the guys is all about.

He tailors what he says and does to suit what will benefit him most at any given moment. I think he's smarter than given credit for, but it's all about whats best for him, his slightly buffoonish persona with the unkempt hair is part of his façade to try and be more funny and "likable" than the typical posh Tory wanker. Problem is, our system doesn't afford the Prime Minister the same power as the US President so he can't go round having his own way 90% of the time like ***** does.

Boris Johnson is intellectually quite gifted but you wouldn't know it from the way he presents himself. The story goes that there was some rivalry between David Cameron and Boris at university because whilst 'Dave' was cramming and being very studious, Boris was on cruise-mode and still getting decent marks.

Although he does appear to be aping the ***** style of politics, Boris is in fact a much bigger fan of more "traditional" political figures such as Thatcher and Disraeli.

Johnson has been in politics for years, long before *****.

And his style has never changed.

Simple people making simple statements while ignoring the facts.

He messes his hair up before going on TV on purpose. Simply put he's a brilliant guy but a power-hungry political snake. May surprise some posters to hear when he was Mayor of London he was lobbying for amnesty for all Illegal immigrants in England. Wrote two letters before Brexit, one endorsing David Cameron and "stay" and one breaking with him for "leave", put out the one he thought would work out the best for himself.

He does what he think will get him more power, and he's got what he wanted.
