Record 32 million Hispanics ready to vote, the largest minority in 2020

    The Washington Examiner:

The percentage of Hispanics eligible to vote in the upcoming 2020 presidential election has surged nearly 20% since 2016 when Hillary Clinton took 66% of the Latino vote.

And at over 30 million, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, Hispanics will be the largest voting minority for the first time.

In an analysis of the federal data, the Pew Research Center said that there are a “record” 32 million Latinos eligible to vote in 2020. That is an increase from 27.3 million in 2016.

“The 2020 election will mark the first time that Hispanics will be the largest racial and ethnic minority group in the electorate, accounting for just over 13% of eligible voters,” said Pew’s FactTank.

The growth in Hispanic voters comes as a result of the surge in the Latino population.

There are more Hispanics that vote for ***** than blacks in terms of %.

I believe that conservative values are more common within Hispanic communities.

80% Plus of blacks vote ********, which is really weird when you consider the fact that ********s invented slavery and **********s ended it.

Contrary to popular belief Hispanics are mostly conservative in nature. Most house holds are into religion one way or another and are very family oriented.

I can only speak of myself as a Chicano and I can say I agree. Religion is a big factor in our morals, a lot of us are Catholic and whether we practice or not, it still effects our political thought process.

It is the upbringing. Even if you don't go to church it is in you cultural and moral wise. Plus being so family oriented is in the culture also. A lot of africans are very family oriented and conservative also because that is their way of life.

It is just wrong to just group people and say that they all think the same way. It is just not they way it works and that is an individual choice how people vote.

I don't think there are any more or less Hispanic gays, but culturally, I don't see many Hispanics rallying for gay causes and all the transgender shyt. There is still more of a machismo alpha-male mentality that dominates the culture.
