My first dealings of a racist?

Long story short my daughter got a quad for her Bday and her friends mom who is Mexican said they knew someone with a adult quad for sell. Her husband is white and Ive met him a couple times he seemed OK. So I meet up with this guy so he can take me to the guys house thats selling it.
I asked how he knew the guy and he said he met him through work. Then he said hes one of the last of the dying breed. I was like huh? Last of the breed? He said yeah us white guys. I have a decent chunk of native american in me.
I ended up buying one from someone else and dont know what to think about this guy. My daughter is friends with a wide range. Our best friends here are Mexican and their daughter is a good friend of my daughters also. The Mexican couple is far more important to us. She also has a black friend and this girl who is mexican and white.
Thing is, I dont want my daughter staying over there now and its her BEST friend. Im in a pickle really. Its not that much of a big deal because we dont hang out with them other than events or Bdays. But with my daughters wide range of friends I dont want him around.
When you have kids things get a bit weird with this stuff. When you're a adult you just cut people off. When kids are involved its a bit tougher. Ugh. I guess I will have to say something but their daughter is really well behaved and a very nice girl. I dont want to screw that up for my daughter.

I would say allow your daughter to maintain her friendship. You can’t hold this other girl’s father against her. Maybe just have a side chat with your daughter. If she is at their house and the dad says anything racist or makes her feel uneasy she should just politely leave. It’s a good opportunity to use her judgment skills and learn how to make these choices for herself. You’ll be there to support her and I think that goes a long way in building trust between you two.

I wish my first dealings with a racist was that easy.It was in Gary and as they say I got caught slippin.I was about 12 and the other kid 16 or so as he beat me with his friends cheering him on he told me he donts like *******s.I showed him I picked up two of my teeth and went home.

Good call but talking to my daughter about racist and racism hasn't happened yet and not ready for it but I guess it's time. I like that she's Innocent still and wanted her to stay that way for as long as could be.

LOL you should report him to the ADL for this violent and de****able hate crime, I'm personally mentioning this to my professor, Levi Goldstein tomorrow. Hopefully the FBI can lock him away for a couple decades, that should teach yt

I dont care if somebody is racist as long as they are cool with me on a personal level. He could have meant nothing by it and it could have been a joke.

Maybe you should offer him one of your peyotes and ya could try to connect with the friendly spirits like huy ya ya ya huy ya ya ya

It’s going to be tough convincing the daughter if she is old enough to think on her own.

if the girl is friendly with your daughter, then...

                  * her father does not seem to be preventing/obstructing their friendship...
... like you would expect a racist man to do

                  * her upbringing does not appear to have stained her perception of life...
... like you would expect if she was raised in a racist environment

                  * your daughter comes first... fcuk everything else

                  * were his words more likely... signs of a hardcore racist?... signs of a closet racist?... a thoughtless off-the-cuff comment?... somewhere in-between?

                  * go with your gut... but make a thoughtful informed decision

                  I got nothing else

                  good luck bro
