Well for one, The population of U.S is exponentially higher than Canada. Every population has its percentage of crazys. Increase the population, and you increase the number of crazys and chances of **** happening.

There is a problem with gun homicide in a few cities like Chicago, Detroit, New Orleans, Baltimore.

The media pretty much ignores/buries it though. They devote 24/7 report these "mass shootings" that account for something like 1% of murders because they the copycat phenomenon is well-studied and they know they will cause more if they report it enough. It's a business model.

Ditto... Americans are great neighbours but this is completely crazy. Their gun laws need to be looked at and the politics of division from both sides is really messing up the country. A gun is looked at as a status symbol, being a man and the ultimate equalizer. This isn't gang warfare which of itself is a huge unaddressed problem. This is some guy randomly opening fire on unsuspecting people they don't know.

I get tired of posting links but we have gun laws dont let the media fool you. MOST shooters pass a background check. But if the ATF doesnt flag them then what's the point of having more laws. This is a mental health issue plain and simple

China underreports its statistics, but with that said, you are correct, there is definitely a problem in the U.S.

A higher rate, yes. But again, times your population by 10 and you/Canada will be introduced to a whole new slew of problems. ******s, gangs, more mentally unstable people, etc.

You don’t have to blame him, or believe he has a part in this some how, as the face of America. He’s doing a great job making it look like he does play a part in these mass shootings all by himself.
