This is just me but I think she said that after the fact because she didn’t want to be seen as a slut for letting some random guy tongue her down. Things weren’t as open ***ually back then. If you ever saw the picture it sure doesn’t look like she’s disgusted or upset about it. Or like he had a “vice grip” on her.

She was on her lunch break walking around and the guy just grabs her and kisses her and moves on.

Over before she knew it. Shocked at what happen, but with the excitement of the day she let it go.

It was during the V-J day celebration. Everyone was going crazy and being wildly happy after 5 years of war. It wasn't a dark alley on a random Wednesday night. EVERYONE was deliriously estatic.
