Come on, bro. It's not hard to see why people feel this was in poor taste.

The thing is that it seems some like Spike Lee don't don't even necessarily feel it was intentional, but the designers shouldn't have been ****** enough to get the design and NOT see how it would be offensive to some for invoking images of black caricatures and black face.

A few ********s get caught wearing blackface and 75% of the lounge goes into an uproar.....Gucci evokes these blackface cartoon images, and the same 75% is like....what's the problem?

As if their mild level of angst would deter a store from selling them

Their big fashion twist was to put lipstick to theirs. Except in today’s world; where people see racism in everything, it got the snowflakes all up in arms and threats of boycotts.
                Good answer

I get what yiur saying. The distinction however is that these ******ia politicians are from the south where blackface was rampant and obvious. Gucci is an Italian company and employees primarily Italian designers. Blackface is not part of their history so not as obvious.

In certain it wasn’t a racist intent. Gucci is collaborating with Dappler Dan and made it first release last year. They are even collabing with dapper dan with the reopening dapper dans studio...in HARLEM.

Designer clothes for ANTIFA, because radical mobs need to be fashionable in 2019.
