Marriage however creates issues for third parties. Insurance plans generally have to cover spouses. Tax benefits. Children are also beneficiary’s.

If bigamy is allowed, then companies have more spouses and children to deal with. Government has to give more tax credits etc.

So it’s not only the parties to the bigamy. It’s the third parties (those outside the relationship) that are mandated to confer benefits and obligations to the marriage.

You would hate to cover a man and his three wives and his 9 children on a single insurance plan. Or the military having to provide housing for all these people. Or the government giving all these credits and losing money.

There is also social engineering aspects to these policies as well. Too much to talk about here.

In short will likely never legally happen.
I still don't get it marriage was a biblical partnership with God and not the government. Now the government says it's OK for gays why not for a three way? Let's be honest if you are highly rich alot of those concerns you talked about is not a issue.

Multiple wives is still a practice in the rest of the world.

Marriage is about stability at home and two wives would be chaotic. I dont need that bullsht in my life. Im happy with one woman who gives me a peace of mind.
Marriage is a biblical practice not a government one. So that was changed over time so this can also be changed too. Gay *** isn't for you that doesn't mean it's not for others. Some men wouldn't mind two wives.

I am just asking a question why one is ok but not the other. That's all I am saying. I am engaged but if it was up to me I wouldn't get married due to the fact I don't like the state in my business. But I wouldn't mind having two women 24/7 lol.

There's are countries that still practice is going on. And vice versa with a women with two husbands.

Tax purposes. If you think the government cares about who marries who, you’re wrong. All they care about is tax revenue.

Pretty sure you can have as many wives as you want as long as you live in the right country.

Aren’t there a lot of middle eastern countries where you can have multiple wives? In those parts women have next to no rights.

You can do whatever you want with woman and if they refuse, it’s illegal.

You just gotta deal with lots of sand.

True if rich not really an issue from technical side but still is issue from legal side.

I won’t get into the Bible as I’m rabbidly against it. However marriage wasn’t creAted by the Bible. Marriage has been around for a long time. And it’s invention was solely to stabilize society. Men running around fathering children all over the place was not good for governments and not good for children being randomly raised.

There are studies that single men are less stable and commit more crimes and are less productive than married men from a statistical standpoint.

Ancient governments knew this without modern studies so they invented marriage. Marriages had a calming and productive effect on men and hen society as a whole.

Allowing a trio to marry is counter to marriage as it onky complicates it. Women and men are jealous and someone would get killed untimaltey. Unless your from poor countries and women becomes second wives out of necessity.

Out of the country’s that practice multiples spouses which are advanced modern countries. They are usually still in the dark ages relatively speaking. Name a ****** country that practices bigamy that you would want to live in.
