Why is suicide considered the "cowards way" out?

I been hearing stories of people that attempt to kill themselves and survive permanently disfigured and disabled.

Then i think about it.. why is suicide considered cowardly? If u ask me it takes major courage to off yourself.

with the astounding number of depressed and suicidal people in this world if there was a guaranteed painless way to die people would be dropping like flies.

there are MILLIONS of people that are only alive because they don't have the courage needed to commit suicide.

so i think is time to stop labeling it cowardly.

Because life itself is already hard and committing suicide to end your pain instead of trying to fix it is an easy escape which is seen as the coward's way out.

I don't judge people who commit suicide because it's their life and they have made their choice by ending their own suffering and no one understands their situation or what they were going through at the time.

Though I wish they seeked help or tried talking out of it but every story is different.

Try to be at least understanding in certain things.

Because you rather kill yourself than face your problems in life. Think of Rid**** Bowe committing career suicide by dumping his belt in the garbage than facing Lennox Lewis.

Killing defenceless people is what's cowardly about that. If they just ran into the desert by themselves and blew themselves up they wouldn't be cowards.
