The movie is painfully overrated and is way too long and drawn out. It's a watchable movie, but, the premise is beyond ****** and I can think of many other movies with Hanks in it that I'd rather watch and where he is better. I think the cinematography is really good and it looks great, but, it's kind of boring to be honest with you.

SPR is the best film ever based on military imo. The firefight scenes are realistic. It's a bit long and that can make it a bit difficult to focus on the film.
