Really sick, please. The worse side effects are a little headache and nausea and that is in rare cases. You don't get flu from a flu shot.

Its possible you're reacting to the vaccine, and may experience flu-like symptoms for a couple days. If it persists longer than 3 days, I'd seek medical help

Hopefully they gave you the right shot. I think they also do a lot of measles and small pox vaccines this time of year, but if you got one of those on accident all that would mean is you're now protected from those diseases as well.
