She was not well enough to be released, and still had a serious issue and they released her.

She also had pass issues with the NHS which was misdiagnosed, and was turned away by the doctors and hospital, in the end she had to go back to Italy to get treated for a life saving operation.

The police also failed her, she was attacked before by these girls, and in that last attack they broke her 16 year old sister's leg. But despite witnesses , police said since the CCTV was not working they couldn't do nothing.

Mariam Moustafa death: Rome prosecutor opens investigation

Prosecutors in Rome have opened an investigation into the death of an 18-year-old student in Nottingham.

Mariam Moustafa, an Egyptian national who was born in Rome, died on Wednesday after she was assaulted by a group of women on 20 February.

The Rome prosecutor has asked the UK authorities to share details of the investigation, Italian media reported.

The Italian foreign ministry said the ambassador to the UK was closely following the investigation.

A post-mortem examination into Miss Moustafa's death was inconclusive.

UK police said more tests would take place to establish if there was a link between the assault and her death.
This case is really showing Britain up on the international stage.

Italy and Egypt are appalled at the UK on how they have treated Mariam in life and death and seem to not trust them to investigate this crime and her death properely

The BBC report you posted didn't have the info, so like I said, provide me with the sources. I'll give her post a watch now.

I did watch the video and she labels herself as Italian, which is odd because the guardian and the bbc only label her as Egyptian and it was the Egyptian government that has been involved every step of the way. from the video, just from personal experience in the healthcare profession, I feel like see may have some mental issues.

The attack itself may not have been racially motivated, as state by the police that they were/are investigating the possibility of mistaken identity.

The point you made about poor treatment in the NHS does hold some weight because it seems that after the attack, the hospital discharged her and she suffered a hemorrhage afterwards, which is unacceptable.

As someone who's had operations with the NHS and still goes once a year for an ear cleanup. The NHS can be brilliant. I've worked in the NHS in a white collar office position for a short period of time but to this day it was my MOST hated experience professionally. There was corruption going on where heads of departments also owned businesses which the hospital had contracts with (wonder how they got that...).

The NHS is probably the ONE thing where people would actually say YES to paying more tax for. The problem is, we don't trust the government to put the money where it should go. Too many of these fat cat politicians come from a upper class background and don't know real struggle. They are not connected with the working class. If they were, they wouldn't waste precious taxpayers money and would pour it into the NHS.

The equipment we used to use in the office was shocking. I never used equipment that bad since I was in school and that was 7-8 years before I got that job. Bear in mind this was a very well known hospital. The NHS is a beautiful concept but hospitals cannot cope...especially A&E departments. We don't have enough doctors either.

You won't go to jail for that but you may face a full prison sentence for this. He's been found guilty and will be sentenced today or tomorrow. This guy owns a satirical youtube channel & made a video of his girlfriend's pug waving its paw around and pretended it was doing the roman/**** salute.

We are at the point where I can see kids going "transracial" and disguising their caucasian ancestry just to avoid beatings and speech persecution, also receiving justice when they're attacked. The UK is a couple steps away from South Africa.

And they gave their guns away "for public safety". Hehe.
