Sopranos Prequel, The Many Saints of Newark

Nice. Can't wait for this. Probably my 2nd favorite series behind Breaking Bad.

David Chase is finally ready to return to the New Jersey turf of his iconic creation The Sopranos. New Line has purchased the screenplay The Many Saints of Newark, the working title for a feature prequel of The Sopranos that is set in the era of the Newark riots in the 60s.

Is it a movie? 60s gangsters in Jersey sounds like a good premise would rather be a series instead of a 2 hour film

Sounds like a show about fat Italian kids eat Pizza all day. Here's tony eating, here tOny crying about his mom.

                  Seriously, there's no story here.

Yup that's what I was thinking too.

                    I'll still watch it though.
