How many of you know how go drive manual cars?

Are you one of those all manual or nothing kind of drivers?

Can't recall where I read or heard this, but only 1 in 5 of us Fat Yanks know how to drive a manual.

To answer the question, I do.

I do, one of the scariest moments while driving was my firstime on a red light on a hill in a manual car lol.

All the cars I currently own are standards.

I've owned a few autos before though.

my cars have this auto/manual function (which i never use). im guessing most newer cars have this transmission option.

2 peddles is more than enough for me.

I prefer to drive only manual cars. I wouldn't buy an automatic most likely.

I actually had trouble driving a girlfriend's automatic after years of only driving a stick. I though I was gonna destroy her transmission or get in an accident a couple times because I slipped into manual mode by habit.

I took my first drivers test using my uncles 1975 Chevy C10 with a Tilt Steering Column shift. The DMV tester told he it was the first time he tested someone under 20 on a column shift. And I passed.
