[REAL TALK] I grew up playing with toy guns and BB guns. This is why I won't buy them for my sons

That's what happens as a parent. You see your child handcuffed in the back of a police car and your instincts to protect your child kick in. It's nature, can't fight it.

The dad was the only smart one. He listened to the cop and did give him a negative attitude

          It's crazy how things change..

Growing up in 80s and early 90s, toy guns were normal and everywhere. Does anyone remember cap guns, or the guns that shot the little disks.. my cousins and I use to shot the **** out of those..

Unfortunately idiot gang****ers ruined it for everyone

how is acting a fool "protecting" your child when your child is in the back of a police car already? the car gonna catch on fire or something? lol you wanna protect your child? great, go get that bail money ready. that's how you "protect" your kid.

Definitely ****** to let your kid run around with any gun or gun looking object nowadays in particular in badder neighborhoods. The handcuffing of an 11 year old seems a bit much doe when he's seemingly being 100% compliant. Don't blame the dude for handcuffing the mom doe (if he did, not sure about that). Can't be bad parenting & then be mad at the police for doing something wrong himself (imo) cuz you did something wrong to start with by letting your kid play in the front yard with a bb gun by himself. Any kid handling a gun that young should be directly supervised or gtfo when the police come. Or at least be living out in the country if you are just gonna let an 11 year old out with a gun by himself or other kids.
