Man I was watching that season on DVD when a close family member passed away. It had the opposite effect on me. When that scene happened, it was as if someone slapped me and shouted, man the **** up! The world aint roses and running through meadows. Bad **** just happened. Deal with it!. After that scene I never shed a tear. Not even at the actual funeral. That made me put Sopranos up there with The Wire in terms of quality.
