    Here you go again.

You really hate white athletes, don't you? You are predictable - Tom Brady is white, so you despise him.

In an attempt to bring the thread back to topic, the reason i'm agnostic is because I don't believe in a god, but at the same time I have no proof that there is no god, and no one can prove that there is a god.

You forgot this too, if you view it from the top you can see a swirl.

Also the swirls on our heads too:

          God exists!

I believe in God but I'm not particularly religious. I think I'm a Christian but who knows?

You always have to bring race into everything and try to bait people, don't you? You're a miserable excuse for a human being. :*******:

That's true, but the way that I personally think of it is that theists are making the claim that is being assessed. I'd have no reason to believe a God or Gods exist, until a person who holds that belief tells me otherwise. And in which case, what is the evidence with which to believe them? I don't believe in anything until it is proven to me, including God(s).

I acknowledge that it is theoretically possible that some evidence which proves God's existence will eventually be discovered, but until that happens I have no reason to assume that to be true. I don't think this makes me Agnostic however. I don't think Atheism means "it is impossible that God(s) exist", rather it's "I have no reason to believe in the existence of God(s)". At least imo.

I was always under the impression that atheism is just outright, god does not exist, and I know it, period. It's like the other end of the spectrum. At least from what i've read about it, which is what lead me to instead choose agnostic, which I feel is just a way of labeling yourself without labeling yourself like "Look, I don't want believe in your god, but I can't prove it and you can't prove it either..I don't want to be a part of this". While atheism and faith are like, "no he doesn't exist you idiot" vs "Oh yes he does, bonehead!"

I choose agnostic in real life conversations because it kinda just stops all conversation of religion and it shows exactly how I feel about it, I just take a scientific approach to everything.

I get what you're saying though. Like kids believing/hoping in Superman and Santa Clause being real some how, and adults chuckling at such a thing and patting the child on the head like "there, there, you'll soon learn all of that is made up".

I can totally relate to the bold. Maybe I'm closer to Agnostic than I think.
