I wasn't embarrassed at all. When you compete and challenge yourself, you don't always win and look good doing it.
See, that's the difference between you and I. I do, you e-fantasize and refuse to do.
I hit the gym. I got in great shape, especially for my age. I competed. I earned rank in a tough martial art.
You choose to not compete. You 'compete' online in an imaginary e-contest you made up and wont even explain the rules of.
If you'd ever competed in something, shed blood and tears and worked through injury doing something that takes getting off the couch, you'd get it.
And until you get off the keyboard and into real life, you'll never get it.
My honest (not a diss) advice to you is to stop causing harm to yourself. You had no business being in there at all, and you knew it, even against that guy. I'm not going to force you to stop, obviously, but it's my honest suggestion.
You must know by now what comes with it, and I sincerely hope, for your own health, that you stop taking unnecessary punishment. Fighting isn't a game, and you will eventually feel the consequences, if you don't protect yourself from further harm.
Most people on here know (I'm surprised that you don't) that I used to box in my teens. I still shouldn't have done it (I don't believe in boxing anymore; humans shouldn't hurt each other), but I stuck with it because of my abilities.
I was and am ridiculously fast and strong, so much so that I hope I never get into a fight with anybody ever again. It's dangerous. I didn't realize how much so back then.
I'd essentially have mercy on the people I sparred with, holding back almost entirely. The times that I would engage on a significant level, I knocked people out or made them quit. I suppose I could get away with not engaging because I was quite difficult to hit.
I remember Evangelista Cotto telling me one time that he couldn't wait until someone "kicked my ass," which was, I guess, his way of saying that I shouldn't have mercy, that I'd eventually fight men in the future who would be able to compete. He even yelled at me one time because I wouldn't finish knocking out one of Cotto's cousins. Anyhow, this isn't about reminiscing, so let me get to the point: I've never seen someone on your level. You're not competitive, and what will happen when you face an opponent who harms you without any mercy? Even the guy whom you were sparring (a dude who shouldn't be in there himself) held back on you. Are you seriously going to continue trying your luck? For what? To feel macho?
It's not a diss, again, but seriously I hope you stop. By comparison, I was sparring monsters even from the beginning. If you let this happen, you will destroy your own body taking shots, man. Listen to reason. There are many people out there who can fight, and you don't need that in your life. They will come, and you don't want to find yourself in that position. Count your blessings that you haven't encountered them, and do something within your skill set.
Seriously. It doesn't make you any less of a man that you can't fight. You could have many other talents, like building or fixing things, for example. If you want to challenge yourself, challenge yourself in a way that won't degrade your body. That's still macho.
I can't do many things. For example, my handwriting sucks. I also suck at other sports like basketball because I have borderline no experience in them. I can't sing. I cant draw...you get the point.
Does that make me less of a man? Less valuable as a person? Of course not!
In your case, in my honest opinion, you just don't have the necessary skill set for pursuing fights without a high risk of significant harm to yourself. That isn't a "bad" thing. It just is the case.
All I'm saying is that there's nothing wrong with actually pursuing something you'd be great at, instead of risking your life in another area.
That was light sparring, and with a buddy. It obviously wasn't fight training you idiot. If you were what you claim, you'd have known this.
Where's clips of you sparring SafeSpace?
You claim to be some sort of monster at fighting (just like in debate, go figure....), but no proof of any real life putting up and challenging yourself....
Its easy to criticize someone doing something you have never done.

Really, let's see you in action....
You ate a lot of shots without landing anything in return for someone who was "light sparring." The only guy who seemed to be taking it easy in there was your opponent, not that he is any good himself. Even if it were light, no one's going to get hit that many times in a row and not want to respond. It looked to me like you were just missing because of a lack of ability. Am I supposed to believe you were throwing and missing on purpose? C'mon.
But whatever, dude; I'm seriously not trying to embarrass you again. It was honest advice. Make of it what you will.
I'm not taking the bait as to your challenge, either. I already went down that road with GGGloveking, and I stopped myself before things got out of hand.
In a sparring session, I'd knock you out, if not kill you by accident, and I'm not doing that.
Believe what you want, but I sincerely hope you take my advice into consideration. You're hurting yourself, man!
I didn't drop a challenge. I don't engage in such nonsense.
I asked you for proof of your claims.
Nothing so far.....
Didn't you read that I haven't sparred since my teens? I stopped sparring long ago, dude. I work out only for the exercise itself nowadays. I don't believe in humans harming one another like that; boxing should be banned.
I think my connection to boxing itself will end once Cotto retires.
So you beat up Cotto's cousin when you were just a teenager!!
Please, continue on. This gets better and better!!
What will you come up with next.....
I didn't phrase it that way; people get hurt in sparring. It happens. And I've sparred more than one cousin. I hurt the other one, too. And? What's it matter? They were teenagers just like me. Just because they're related to Miguel doesn't mean it's some farfetched achievement. They're sparring sessions.
Actually, I sparred three cousins. I forgot the leftie.
Who cares? I've sparred many other people, too. How is that farfetched in the slightest? I'm not on here saying I "beat people up." People can get hurt and even knocked out in sparring; that's not news. You should know by now. >.> It's a part of the sport, which is precisely why I'm warning you that you're risking your health.
