Would you do it?
You'd have to do it completely solo, reach the summit, and then successfully descend back down.
And then you'd get 100 million dollars immediately wired into your bank account.

K2 bottleneck at 8,211 meters
2nd tallest mountain on earth. 28,251 feet. Temps that drop to 40 below zero and even colder the further up you go. Hurricane force winds that are capable (and have) of blowing human beings right off the mountain to their deaths. Massive, falling chunks of ice. Avalanches. Crevices that have cliff like falls that are hidden beneath snow. Widely regarded as the most difficult mountain on earth to climb from a technical standpoint (Everest by comparison, even though taller, is considered a cakewalk compared to K2). Has the 2nd highest fatality rate among all mountains. With around 300 documented successful summits and 77 documented fatalities -- for every 4 who reach the top, 1 will die trying. It has never been successfully climbed in winter. According to this website (below), since they've recorded the statistics, you'd have a 19.7% chance of dying if you attempt a climb.
You would get to train all you want, and take as long as you want to get up the mountain (keep in mind that would mean setting up a tent and sleeping in a sleeping bag in some of the coldest temperatures known on earth in blizzard like conditions). But the entire trip up and back down the mountain would be done strictly by yourself. If you're successful, then 100 million straight into your bank account.
