    [PLEASE HELP] What is your official body type?

    There are three basic human body types: the endomorph, characterized by a preponderance of body fat; the mesomorph, marked by a well-developed musculature; and the ectomorph, distinguished by a lack of much fat or muscle tissue. It's all about the illusion these structures create. An ectomorph will naturally look skinner than he or she is, an endomorph will look heavier even when ripped, and a mesomorph will look well proportioned even with a little added weight. The goal: Make yourself look like a mesomorph even if you're not.





    What are some of the pros and cons you've come across with your body type?

    At first I thought I was an Endo but now that I've done some research I believe I am an Endo-meso. I read that Endo's have a really hard time losing weight which does not stand true for me. I perspire a lot during exercise so I can lose a ton of weight. But like Endo's, I can put on weight exceptionally fast.

        pros Im pretty strong, i get in shape fast and build muscle fast.

        cons, if I dont work out for extended time my body gets a lil soft.

            Yeah I also fell along this scale.

            I haven't lifted weights in years and I still have big, strong arms and defined pecs. But my body tends to get soft around the midsection which is exaggerated even more by my wide hips.

            But I'm glad I know my body's characteristics now. Now I will start lifting again knowing that with my body type I can put on muscle mass easily.

              Ecto-Meso.
              If I don't workout I lose weight like a lead balloon's fall rate.. If I skip the gym for a week, it's over. Doesn't matter if I went every day for the last three months..

                Lol, full on Endo's have it real bad.

                They literally can get fat overnight from overeating.

                For instance they can put on 10 lbs on Thanksgiving alone.

                    ENDOMORPH: 13%
                    MESOMORPH: 50%
                    ECTOMORPH: 38%

                    YOUR BODY IS BETWEEN AN
                    ECTOMORPH AND A MESOMORPH

                    I was so skinny when I was younger, but due to diet, age and weight lifting my body has really filled out in the last 4 years. I have thin wrists, but naturally wide hips and even wider shoulders.

                    If I didn't hit the gym and ate really well, I'd be about 15 pounds lighter without much effort.
