how are the boxing streams and ppvs? good quality?
I wish I was ballin, KODI doesn't come installed in it, but once you open the google play store, it's one of the first apps available, and all you have to do is press install, then you start adding your add-ons and repos.

Streams are as good as the person uploading the stream is, the box doesn't make the streams better, the ease of use is what makes it better.

Plus I think this is the only box that offers AC wireless, which comes in perfect when you're on a 5ghz network.

Is it worth it?? I currently have a Roku stick, are these fire sticks similar? Just plug in to TV and it jumps onto your wifi??

Don't pay for that, buy your own fire stick and learn how to work KODI by yourself, I've never done an install on a fire stick, but from what I see in the videos, it's easy as phuck.

Trust me, I've been using KODI for a while, you'll be more appreciative of it, when you know how to work on it on your own, the reason the community frowns upon the fire stick sellers, is because they sell to people with the same mentality you have, just plug it in and it will work forever.

KODI is something that takes upkeep and patiences, sometimes addons stop getting support, if you don't have a certain repository installed, an addon you're looking for may not be available to you.

My suggestion to you is, either buy a fire stick or an Android TV box, and learn how to work on KODI on your own, if you pay someone money and then install it yourself on something else, you're gonna feel like you got robbed, real talk.

Android TV box is much easier, KODI is usually installed in them and you can get most of them from $20 to $300, the only thing you'll need to learn how to do is install repos and addons to get the "good stuff".

The videos I've seen, you do need a PC to download it onto the firestick, but an Android TV box just needs Internet.

              So what's the verdict?

i tried going off of the grid by getting rid of cable TV. it was a failed experiment

i',m just not there yet. couldn't stream live fights, which was bascially the dealbreaker for me.

I'm using Sling ONLY to watch the Rangers baseball games. Otherwise, it has nothing that I need. However, that channel (FoxSW) buffers a lot....I'm going to talk to Sling about it.
Sling has a lot of dumb ass channels that I never watch.

I also upgraded to include ESPN on SLing because my daughter and son-in-law were visiting and wanted to watch Wimbledon (ugh). Now I'm deleting that channel.

I used an android box to watch The Kovalev fight yesterday. The pic wasn't great, but was ok. Didn't buffer or cut out either.

They're worth having for the TV shows and movies, which come in good quality. The sport can range is pic quality depending on where the stream is coming from.

They're good though. As long as you're wifi isn't really bad.
