So it sounds like the storm has rapidly slowed down as it hit land. Downgraded to cat 2 over night.

Still a big threat of landslides from the rain.

Better news though at least.

I just found out that i actually have a family member who lives in one of the danger zones (Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco). Luckily it seems like he isnt in the area at the moment. I knew he was in Mexico but didnt realise he was that close to it all
