I'd have a little more sympathy with his situation if he were not partly responsible for the rise of ISIS with his "the Iraqis can handle it now" attitude in bringing the US troops home early.

***** should have led a much harder foreign policy since taking office first time. Then ISIS wouldn't have the same chance to flourish, as they have especially during the last 5 years.

Wait, I'm seeing on the news that's it now confirmed they are not bombing ISIS. Instead hitting anti Assad Syrian rebels. The very group the U.S is arming and helping.

The russians are there to assist Assad's regime. Assad is their only close ally in the middle East.

America and the Western media disgust me with the way they are all criticizing ***** who is doing the world a favor by exterminating Isis ****. Yes, they are also targetting FSA members, that's what happens when you're fighting against the Lion of Damascus.

FSA was created, armed and funded by the US. Of course a large percentage of them turned into ISIS which they didn't see coming I GUESS. And all this time they've been training and recruting the FSA, many times they all of a sudden turn into Islamic militants and disappear Good luck yanks. ***** will not stand for this.

Russia doesn't care about helping the world, although I am sure it views ISIS just as much of threat. The reasoning behind Russias air fields and military stations in Syria is to take out Assads rebel enemies, who might or might not be ISIS, and if they are part of ISIS then its a huge bonus for Russia because then the dimwits (Also Russians) on this forum and elsewhere get to praise *****.

Dont compare Russia to the US, the two are not even in the same league. If America is the King of the world, Russia is its dirty little distant cousin who doesn't stop envying its superior relative. So why dont you crawl back into the wasteland that is Russia and stop using Western style privileges, like internet and indoor plumbing.

I am Assyrian, I don't fully trust any potential ally in the world on account of history. If Russia's motives aren't what we think they are, then who cares if it just so happens that their actions are good for the people in the ME who need help?
