Should the Confederate flag still be flying in America?

The Confederate flag (battle flag of ******ia to be exact) is still flying in 7 states in the South. Some say it's "Heritage not hate", that it's part of our history.

The president said that it belongs in a museum, not flying over govt buildings in America.

What do you guys think? Should we still be flying it? Or should it be taken down. This is also an issue that has been talked about way before the shooting in South Carolina.

I think we should focus less on symbols and more on ideologies.

If you ignore the later then other images will replace those and your back to square one.

For example how many people know about the numbers 14 and 88?
