I saw the guy making an effort to fit in by being a fat ****. But I don't really "get" chat shows. It just seems to be about back-slapping and ****.
If I ran my own chat show, I'd just get pissed (drunk, Fat Yanks). I'd start it off pretty normal, but get more and more wasted as it went on, till in the end I'm telling the female guests how I'd love to **** them in the eyes while dressed as Tony "Braggadocio ****" Tiger, and then piss in my own pants. I don't even know how they can do a whole show without toilet breaks... I've got a weak bladder.
Just **** things like "60 impressions in a minute" or whatever they ****ing do. I'd have a feature "60 racially offensive stereotypes in a minute", and go through the whole world doing routines. Let no stone be unturned, everywhere from India to Alaska's getting offended.
I'd have Beercules on as my sidekick, and every show I bring on a new dwarf to push his shit back in.
