    Bruce Lee, how good was he actually?

    Some people seem to be under the misconception that Bruce Lee was this some sort of immovable object that would break anything that crossed his path.

    Take a look at some of the comments from the link -



    The question from this forum question is who would win in a no restriction fight between 150lbs Bruce Lee vs 220lbs Mike Tyson...
    Alarmingly to my total bemusement some of these people geuinely believe the hype that is Bruce Lee, they believe that a mere 150lbs man could beat a professional fighting athlete.

    Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks this Bruce Lee **** is nothing more than dungeons and dragons a bunch of fantasy geeks who probably think its plausible to kill a full grown lion with your bare hands.

    There is only one way Bruce Lee Vs Mike Tyson plays out and its Bruce Lee getting knocked out brutally if not murdered by Tyson.

          Philosophy or not philosophy, these people on that forum think Bruce Lee could beat up a professional athlete who holds pretty much every physical advantage over him and on top of that actual real life experience of what its like to be in a real fight.

          Bruce Lee would get absolutely crushed If he was to fight someone that size and with that aggression.

              He fought guys 3 times his size.

                His resume = The movies he put out

                We all know China aren't well known for producing great MMA's and Boxers, If anything the area producing the best Asian fights it is Japan.

                    That is the old UFC though, they pretty much let anybody on that show it was a freak-show yes there were some experienced athletes with genuine talents like Ken Shamrock but they weren't anything like a refined killer athlete like a Mike Tyson.

                    Plus what was there to suggest Bruce Lee held that ground ability to do what a Royce Gracie did?
                    Say he did take Tyson down to the ground do you really think he'd keep him down on the ground.
