I can't believe no one thinks this was a poor choice of shirt for an international press covered event.
Regardless of any possible feminist issues its unprofessional.

Again you're using the term "extremist". As painfully idiotic and obviously attention seeking as it is, this really doesn't come close to the realm of extremism. Think about it, if Islamic extremists limited their activities to passive-aggressive blog posts on the internet then the world map would look pretty different about now.

He just landed a probe on a comet, a feat that took over a decade of planning and research and the most insane mathematical calculations and engineering prowess. To catch the comet the probe had to orbit Mars and Earth several times to use gravity to catapult itself into the path of the celestial body, and then it had to match the speed and rotation perfectly in order to catch the surface.

He could have done the press meetings wearing a pair of plastic **** with a traffic cone on his head.

Squeal you are better than this, your argument only strengthens mine. In deciding to wear such a shirt he has detracted from this amazing feat. That is unprofessional.
The notion that because someone has achieved something remarkable gives them a pass on any other issue is flawed in my opinion.

It gives them a pass on the shirt they choose to wear. It's not like he celebrated his historical achievement by kidnapping and murdering a child.

Also he hasn't detracted from his amazing feat, not at all. A handful of ridiculous bloggers and their social justice echo-chamber online have attempted to detract from it for reasons of self publicity.

Just think where your argument leads and its flawed.
Trying to justify it by comparing it to something far more extreme doesn't prove anything.

I think he has, you yourself posted about the shirt debate. Maybe you also posted about all the other work but to say it doesn't detract isn't true.

Seriously? This man is out there devoting his life for our progression as mankind and folks actually have the nerve to bash him over a shirt ? What if.... His shirt had sentimental value, seeing as how this was one of he biggest day's of his life, he decided to wear something wih personal significance. Or a woman gave him the shirt, a woman whom he cares for so much he wore the shirt she gave him on such a special occasion to express his feelings towards her.

What a bunch of leaky ****s,"omg! You can't wear a shirt with women printed on it.... Not Unless the women are morbidly obese and are a realistic representation of girl power!"

                  Let these neckbeards live, yo.

Your point holds no weight I'm afraid.
The idea you can't admire his contributions and criticise his attire is strange

To criticize his attire means you have a vagina.
