I never understood the reason people take big underdogs because of the odds.

It's sometimes ok if you have other bets to cover them, but a loss is a loss.

You put down bets on guys you are confident will win.

It's kind of like hardaways and prop bets in craps. They have bad odds and the only time you place them is when you are up big already.

The ponies are a mystery to me. I have a friend who owns a share of a racing stable.

I've never been to the dog track. I really wanted to go in Florida but never got around to it.
