Just bought some hot peppers online

They'll be here Friday. These are considered "super-hots" by most 'experts' (i.e. idiots who eat these for fun on youtube and then throw up all over the place)

I love hot food, but I've never eaten a super-hot pepper.

Anybody else here eaten these before? The ones I should be getting are:

Trinidad Scorpion Moruga, Trinidad Scorpion Chocolate, 7 Pot Brain Strain Red, 7 Pot Primo, The Reaper, Trinidad Scorpion Butch T, Yellow Scorpion, Yellow Moruga, Yellow Ghost, Yellow Brain Strain

some pictures of what these look like

    Trinidad Moruga Scorpion

    Trinidad Scorpion "Chocolate"

    7-Pot Brain Strain "Red"

And just for entertainment purposes, a picture of the worlds hottest known pepper, the "Chocolate Bhutlah" (Not included with the ones I bought)

Also, post what the hottest food you've ever had and still tasted good

it certainly hot but still acceptable. i use too make sambal(google it) with trinidad scorpion several time. use only one or two if you wanna make sambal/sauce with it, is more than enough.

I love too add it in Gulai(coconut milk stew) and curry.

Scorpion chilies aren't nothing to *** with. What you planning on doing with them?
My coworker grows them and gave me one once. One night I came home very drunk and needed to eat something before I went to sleep. Found some instant Pho. Cooked it up, no sriracha but hey I got that chili, wrong move. Only sliced maybe a 1/4 of it and put it in my soup, it was like lava in my stomach. I was so drunk I still ate it all. Layed in bed for half and hour moaning, holding my stomach before I passed out.

Sambal isn't really hot, everyone adds it to Soto Ayam, Ikan Goreng or pretty much anything else.

I'd wager some of the chillis on the list are far far hotter than sambal even when Sambal is made with Bhut Jolokia and not Birds eye chilli. Good Carolina Reapers are meant to be twice as hot as Jolokia.

Those Scorpion peppers are supposed to be hot as hell. Lots of videos online of people trying to keep their cool after eating one. I ain't into that sort of thing, though I do eat a lot of Thai food which can be hot as hell. I love Indian food too but it's not even in the same league as Thai when it comes to ****iness.

Sambal basically is sauce made from fresh peppers, you can choose the chilies/peppers based on your taste.
and of course isn't really super hot coz i add another many ingredients for only 2-3 super peppers. i'm making food not try to be dare devil.

Made with the top 5 worlds hottest peppers: Moruga Scorpion, Chocolate 7 Pot, 7 Pot Jonah, Trinidad Scorpion, Bhut Jolokia

bought these a few years back, thats 10min of pure pain and nothing helps. In the end I had to press ice cubes on my tongue to alleviate the pain.
