Being a ******* or *******ism does NOT equate to being a Socialist/Marxist/Communist AT ALL.

John Locke is considered father of Classical *******ism and what was his mantra? Life, Liberty AND "Property". Far from the Communist notion of state ownership.

Ever heard of Adam Smith and the Invisible hand? The fellow came up with the concept of free markets and is categorized as a ******* theorist.

So, in a nutshell you're confusing ideologies.

Edit: There are however, overlaps between the two, no question, but they are certainly not the same things.

You're confusing what a ******* means today with what it meant two hundred years ago. They aren't the same. The ideologies of Locke and Smith (both of whom I've read by the way) are today described as "libertarian" while "*******" is the the term appropriated by progressives (ie Marxist ****tards) in an effort to appear warm and fuzzy.

The fact that you obviously don't know that (or are being disingenuous) leads me to conclude that I should regard any "insights" you might have regarding political ideologies with about as much seriousness as I would a worm.

In conclusion Americans have been bombarded so thoroughly by partisan commentators using the word "*******" as a pejorative that they don't tend to have the first clue as to what it means.

"not trying to hate, but your bathroom sucks, and i think you're lying on the internet!."

i am 27 years old, and bought my house when i was 24. i actually closed just after i turned 25. it doesn't cost much to remodel a small bathroom, andi could do it tomorrow if i wanted to. it's a perfectly fine bathroom, and i've got no real desire to superfluously remodel a bathroom on what will eventually become a rental property. all i do in there is sh#T, shower, trim my pubes.

          why would i lie?

as for leasing my car, the timing with buying my house was the issue. the engine blew on my WRX about two weeks before i closed on my house. i also didn't want to ahve a comitment to a car i didnd't want to own long term.

leasing my car with a service plan allowed me to calculate the expenses to a degree of relative certainty, which i like. i also put nothing down after trading the WRX with a blown engine. i could have waited the several weeks to get the WRX fixed with a new engine, but i was literally two weeks from paying the balance on the down payment on my home. i was 25 years old, man. i've never once "bragged" about leasing a car

i could buy an impreza with cash tomorrow if i cared to. whether or not you believe me isn't going to bother me all that much, in spite of the fact that i generally like you as a poster.

i'd have to do an awful lot of research and legwork if i crafted a persona on bscene. i am who i say i am. you can PM me if you'd like, the way i invite any of the members of my fan club to do so.

If that is how you view things then, so be it man, but looking at the second para, damn I certainly didn't mean to bring out your sensitive side. Sorry.
